I am the artisan behind all the designs seen here and also the creator of this website. My work is also available at my Etsy shop: Luminous Art Studio.etsy.com. I am an independent artist living in Santa Fe, NM and specializing in handcrafted stained glass and mosaic art. I have been making stained glass ever since falling in love with a piece I saw in a bookstore while traveling over 20 years ago. I then attended numerous local classes and it's been a wonderful creative journey ever since. I was a featured stained glass artist at several Colorado galleries, including Boulder and Evergreen. Today I sell my pieces to local individuals and online all across the country.
Last year I revisited making mosaic art using stained glass tiles, but I was looking for a new form or substrate to work with. One day I stumbled across a rustic wood bowl I had stored away and I suddenly lit up with excitement. Ideas began to fill my head non-stop. This new combination turned out to be a match made in my creative heaven!

The design styles range from simple to more refined, from the whimsical to nature and spiritual-themed pieces. Each piece of art has a special attention to design and detail only achieved from years working with glass. I draw my inspiration from everywhere, including the amazing Santa Fe landscape, petroglyphs of the Southwest & local art galleries, and even my pets. When not creating art, I am an Intuitive Counselor & Healer in private practice. I also enjoy hiking, local skiing, cooking, researching nutrition, playing with my precious Dachshunds, and all things angelic. I love shopping for more art materials to keep up with the constant flow of ideas filling my head!
